Veneer Plywood

Veneer plywood (formerly called veneer board) is composed of veneer layers bonded together with adhesives and a grain direction parallel to the plane of the board. It normally consists of an uneven (odd) number of layers and may be composed of veneers of constant or different thicknesses. Veneer plywood is available in a thickness range from 3 to 50 mm. Boards with a thickness of more than 12 mm and 5 or more layers are commonly called “multiplex panels”.
Veneer plywood has high strength properties and good dimensional stability. It may be coated or laminated with veneers or other surface finishing techniques.
Among others, veneer plywood is used in furniture manufacturing, vehicle and carriage construction, packaging materials and in particular in building applications. Manufacturer: |
